About Us
This community garden was borne of strong community ties, the kindness and generosity of numerous individuals and love for nature.
Set up by a few neighbours in Taman Sri Hartamas, we grown to include volunteers from all over Kuala Lumpur. We welcome everyone!

The Beginning
Discussions started back in 2018 at a SHRA AGM. A whatsapp group was set up consisting of Melissa & Phillipa. Others were soon added and we had our first ground breaking on March 2020!
Covid lockdown hit and we had to wait. We started our weekly cleanups in August when things took off.
We now have some 14+ beds and growing, a kids educational area and some 100 different plants!

Current Status
We have some 130+ volunteers on our WhatsApp group and some 1,920 supporters on our social media platforms.
We are blessed with generous and kind neighbours and supporters and aim to give back as much as we can to the community.
The Future
We hope to get our Temporary Occupancy Licence this year - then we will build beds from Jalan 10 to Jalan 14.
We also hope to get a JCB up to the slope to build a retention pond, as well as build some tool sheds.
We would love a landscape architect to direct all our improvement plans, especially to help advise on water flow and capture.
